A-2 Foreign Govt. Officials

Global Allianz Immigration consultants will prepare and file all the required forms and documents for all other types of visas.

A-2 VISA

The A-2 diplomatic visa is a non-immigrant visa which allows foreign accredited officials, not in the diplomatic category, to enter into the U.S. to engage in official activities of their government. You may stay in the U.S. on A-2 visa as long as the Secretary of State continues to recognize you as a member of the diplomatic community. Yes, you may extend your stay while on A-2 visa. The extension of stay is a simple matter of a renewal of accreditation by the DOS pursuant to a request from a foreign government.

PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A-1 VISA

Accredited Officials, not in diplomat category, immediate family members of A-2 diplomatic visa holders.

HOW TO APPLY?

To apply for US A-2 visa you should fill in and submit USCIS Form DS-156 along with your diplomatic passport and photographs. The consular officer may require additional documents to verify the purpose for obtaining the visa.
